This brief was one I completed at Media Design School. Our brief was to rebrand a budget brand into a luxurious one. Consumer research points strongly to elegance playing a major part of a luxurious brand identity.
I chose to work with the brand Nerada, a well known Australian tea company. I was tasked with changing their budget looking brand into an elegant, high-end line of tea. A key brand positioning of Nerada's was their traditional tea making practices; "nurturing every plant to ensure Nerada produces only the very best quality tea." On redesigning the brand I wanted to tie the colour of tea with the well known traditional luxurious colours of black and gold, thereby tying the branding and packaging together in this way. The result is an elegant, simple package that is highly visible on any shelf.
